Getting to know Toby aka HipHop
This heart felt story is most definitely for all you dog lovers out there. We would like to take
some time to introduce you to Toby and his story. Toby is a male Brown and White Red Nose Pit-bull.
He was found in the streets of Fort Lauderdale a week before one of the biggest hurricane to hit
Florida (Wilma). Toby was 4 months when he was found in the streets dragging half his bleeding body
to safety.
The Fort Lauderdale couple who Found Toby took him in and cared for the pup, the first
Step was feeding the malnourish pup with some clean water and some hearty dog chow, next, a visit
to the local Vet to find out what was really wrong with Toby and also to take care of his open sores
from dragging is lower body around, at this time his only way of moving around. Toby has other issues,
(ear mites, and rash) but more serious was finding out why half his body wasn't working.
After his
visit to the vet, the couple found out Toby's spine was fine and he will live a healthy dog life,
but his problem on the other hand; you see Toby's lower bone structure never grew, and his hip never
matured, In simpler term Toby's leg bone sits in his hip socket with no connecting ball joint,
enabling him to stand and walk normal. Toby's condition is said to be caused by improper breeding.
The Solution to Toby's Problem is one in two, First, a Five thousand Dollar Hip replacement Surgery
or Second, A Doggy Wheel Chair For Five Hundred.
Well without even arguing on a solution, here at Audio Vibe, we are taking it upon our selves to build Toby a
doggy wheel chair with an audio vibe twist to it of course(he he). The Concept is providing Toby an adjustable wheelchair that
can grow with him.
Sorry Folks but fabrication will be limited in this build, so their will be no body drop wheel chair, no air ride or
hydro…Sorry...
"But It would have been cool to see Toby hitting some switches with his tail, running down the street sitting
sideways, and doing some hopping(he he)."
We'll do our best in keeping you updated with Toby's condition, but for now below has some pics of the wonder pup
who refuses to give up on living, (we also added a video clips of Toby at play and walking).
